Question for the ladies!

Hi :)

I am after a pair of proper high waisted tights for working out in. Ideally 3/4 length but not the end of the world if not. I have a very short small waist and wide mama hips and bum. I need them to be on or above the belly button.

If you have any recommendations I'd love to hear!

Thank you x

I have a lot of RBX brand leggings that tolerate my similarly shaped body and are pretty stinking cheap- $15 a pair I think. Mine all hit my belly button or just above, which is nice- I don't have to worry about flashing my butt at 30 of my closest friends in yoga class.

Just curious- why do you need them above your belly button- at that point it's almost to your rib cage. There isn't much need for that if they are fitted shorts- they'll stay on fine if they are the right size.

Shockingly, Walmart has a GREAT pair of 3/4 length Capri pants labeled as Danskin "compression" though I'm not sure I'd go that far. They're pretty high waisted IMO and only $15. AND they're not see through. Which is the trickiest of my requirements!

You can just get some regular leggings and a long t shirt

While pricey, I am a fan of Lululemon. I wear and wash my stuff constantly and it lasts me. Plus it is super comfy.
The wunder under roll down pants give you the option on wearing them rolled down, or not. When they aren't rolled down, they are very high waisted. I loved them after I had a baby, it felt like it was holding me in without creating rolls

I agree with rbx. I started wearing them when I had a 27 inch waist and 44 inch hips and they stayed up. They also have beautiful/interesting waist bands. They come up to my belly button I think.

TekGear's Shapewear line capris are higher waisted/above the belly button. I go high waisted because if I don't, my fat/skin roll pops out over the top and it is uncomfortable and just not a good look.

I have a pair from the C9 line from Target that are nice and high too. I can't find a style name on them though.

Try Target. They've got 3/4 length black tights with a decent waistline for $8 here.
