I tend to listen to mix of upbeat rnb, pop, rock some far and few genres and yes even some j-pop[japanese pop music] to keep me going whilst exercising on my own.

My playlist at random consists of:

    Lose my breath- Destiny's Child
    Starstrukk- 30H!3
    Touching on My- 30H!3
Joy to the World- Orb Hunter 4 [j-pop]
Acceptable in the 80s- Calvin Harris
    Basement Jaxx- Good Luck
Choose-David Guetta feat. Ne-yo and Kelly Rowland
    Scandalous - Misteeq

Really random, and just a few,my playlist is constantly growing with
    old and new music. ;)

The one song that really really gets me going is Freak on a Leash by Korn. I'm not a huge heavy rock girl but for some reason this song makes me push it harder!

Wow! I see a lot of great songs in this thread that I need to add to my iPod! I do most of my cardio in group classes (Zumba, water aerobics, etc.), but I do a little bit of treadmill running, so here are a few of my current favorites for that:

    Allstar - Smashmouth
    Break Stuff - Limp Biskit
    Buttercup - The Foundations
    Can't Get Enough - Smashmouth
    Circus - Britney Spears
    Cowboy - Kid Rock
Electric City - Black Eyed Peas
I Gotta Feeling - Black Eyed Peas
    I Kissed a Girl - Katy Perry
Imma Be - Black Eyed Peas
    Krazy - Pitbull (w/Lil Jon)
Lean Like a Cholo - Down
The Middle - Jimmy Eat World
Move, Shake, Drop (Remix) - Category 6 (DJ Laz, Flo Rida, and Casely)
    Ojos Asi - Shakira
Punk Rock 101 - Bowling for Soup
Remember the Name - Fort Minor
    Showdown - Black Eyed Peas
    So What - Pink
    Start the Commotion - Wiseguys
    Tik Tok - Ke$ha
When I Grow Up - *****cat Dolls
    1985 - Bowling for Soup

Some of those may be repeats of what's listed earlier in the thread. And you can see it's kind of an eclectic collection... :)

I would NOT suggest listening to Flogging Molly while on the treadmill... it may lead to a spontaneous urge to "river dance" and that is never a good idea while on the treadmill. Not that I would know or anything. Eh hem...

Thats great! Black Friday Rule and Devils Dance Floor always gets me going too much and I just want to jump around

I will have to check out Flogging Molly. I'm a huge Great Big Sea fan and my hubby likes the Dropkick Murphy's!

One of my favorite songs ever is Layla (the original by Derek and the Dominoes), amazing guitar playing! Eric Clapton is the bees knees and that song keeps me going. I even named my baby Layla. I also love:

Lady Gaga, Kanye West (stronger!!!), Britney Spears, Fleetwood Mac, Queen.....just about everything!

the stuff that really gets me hitting the elliptical hard are trance/house music. They are non-stop beats and with some lyrics thrown in.

I just started getting into these Podcasts:

Radio 538: Tiesto's Club Life Podcasts - 50 minutes of non stop trance/house/techno
A State of Trance Official Podcast - 30-40 minutes of trance/house
