Curves?

Anyone have experiences with Curves? Good or bad? I was thinking about joining. Thanks:)

    From what i hear it can be great up to a certain point. At some point the circuits will no longer be enough for you. In which case, i hear their customer service and cancellation process is.. well... horrible.

    Don't let that discourage you! If it's close, if you'll do it, if you'll enjoy it, and if you're a beginner, id say go for it.

    I've had a lot of success with them in the past and rejoined last month. I like that it's 30 minutes in and out do the circuit. I tried doing it like that at a regular gym because it's much cheaper but couldn't make it work because some one was on my machine or I couldn't keep true to the interval times. For most people I know it's a 1-2 Year gym starting point because ur muscles will plateau and you'll need the variety that a tradition gym gives u. It also depend on how much weight I have to lose.

    This. I started with Curves and liked it. But after several months I felt I needed more and joined the Y. I had to finish my year's contract.

    I have 100 lbs to lose and have never worked out beyond power walking. So I think it may be good.

    And as a busy mom.. 30 minutes and .5 miles from home sounds amazing.
