I count my macros (carbs, proteins, fats) or at least I am starting to do so. Anyone has some tips they'd like to share? Is it better to weigh your food before of after its cooked? Just looking for any tips that can be shared. Thanks!

For sanitary reasons, I always weigh my foods cooked (unless I prefer to eat it raw, then I weigh it raw obviously). In my opinion, it can go either/or... really up to your preference, though. IIFYM can be difficult in the beginning, but once you start thinking of meals & how they fit into your day, it becomes so much easier. I know hitting protein goals is an issue for beginners, but eggwhites, eggs, Greek yogurt, chicken, lean beef/turkey and protein supplements (if needed) can get you to your goal.0
