Hiding the bathroom scales

i want to lose about 40-50lbs so I have hidden the bathroom scales. I used to lose half a stone a week of i dieted and now I'm lucky if it's a 2lb and I then get fed up that I'm not losing the weight quickly enough, so I weighed my self today and I am not going to get the scales out for a month, to see how I do of a month of healthy eating and working out 4 times a week! The theory is that I will start to feel better asy clothes will feel better rather than being fixated on the scales..... Will keep you posted!

    Have done the exact same thing! I get too hung up on it if the scales are there and end up weighing myself every day which we all know isn't good! Going to go by the feel of my clothes and really stick to logging everything that passes my lips!

    Hah, me too! I get so hung on my weight and it's very disheartening when they don't show what you want. I started logging yesterday and also won't weight myself for a month. It will be interesting to see how my predicted weight loss matches up with my actual result.
