Need advice on bike rack for 4 bikes
Options
I'm trying to research what I need to carry 4 bikes on my scion xB and I am so confused. One regular bike, one mountain bike, two average clunky kids' bikes. Would a class I hitch be enough for that many bikes, someone tried to tell me that's all I can get on my scion, don't know yet if that's really true? I am fine with either getting a hitch mounted rack or a roof rack, whatever is sturdy enough.

Kinda pricey, but this should do the trick.0

a hitch mount will be more sturdy in the long run. If you want to go all out a Kuat is pretty spiffy.

That one does look good, but if I'm understanding it right, it sounds twice as expensive as the Thule Apex that I was looking at? This will be a gift and I'm supposed to give recommendations, so I'm not sure that price will go over so well unfortunately.
