I adjusted my macros but I'm 700 calories under and already hit my macros? What am I doing wrong?

If you reached your protein and fat goals, the rest of your calories go to carbs. Also, look at your micros and make sure those are being met too!

How did you calculate your macros?

You've either not calculated to a calorie goal, or you're logging something with incorrect info

    There are two different methods.

If you use the MFP default, the macros (all 3 of them) are based on percentages of the total calories so adding the calories from the 3 macros together equals 100% of the calorie goal so hitting your macros means that you've reached or exceeded your calorie goal.

If you set the goals in grams (I understand that Premium lets you do so) then you can meet your desired macro goals for 1 or 2 of the macros and still have calories left over. For instance, I might have a 100 gram goal for protein, a 60 gram goal for fat, and an overall calorie goal of 1800. Once I've met those 2 macro goals, whatever calories are left can go toward carbs and perhaps some more fat or protein if I wish.

It sounds like the OP is using the second method.

If not, then I agree that perhaps the problem is with the items chosen from the database.

Everything needs to be double-checked against the nutrition label to make sure that the item info is correct before you add an item to your diary.
