Welcome Sarah--you have come to the right place. I have been on MFP for about two years now, and I am at goal weight now, but I still log in on most days, so I stay on track. I lost 25 plus pounds in all. Weight loss is simply calories in versus calories out. I don't eliminate foods, I just eat less of them. It's hard at first because you will get hungry, but eventually as your stomach shrinks and your mind gets used to the new lower calorie adjustment those hunger pangs fade away.
