I for a long time subscribed to the idea that fats should be avoided post workout; after doing some reading a long time ago I read that chocolate milk is one of the best things you can drink post workout so I would go for the non and low fat variants - those days are now long gone. I recently read a study from Alan Aragon that found that whole milk increased protein synthesis by a whopping 2.7 percent! 2.7 percent may not sound significant, but that's a huge difference in protein synthesis considering that all you have to do is buy some delicious whole milk; even though the non-fat had more protein at an equal caloric level, the whole milk still resulted in more protein synthesis. Will find the study again if anyone cares to read.

Happy to read that; I was always a whole milk guy as it's creamier and better tasting and now I can drink it knowing that it's significantly helping rather than hurting my gains in the post workout period.

Also tried raw whole milk today for the first time 10/10
