I wouldn't be too concerned about going over on protein--I've found that the MFP default for it is on the low side. A while back, I went into my goals and adjusted my carbs-protein-fat percentages to ratios that suit me better. I usually eat close to 100g of protein daily0

I'm almost always over my protein but at least 50, and I've been losing consistently since January. I ended up taking protein off my list and replaced it with sodium. I wouldn't be too worried.0

That does seem low for your protein setting. I am type 2 diabetic and need lower carbs and more protein so I tweaked my percentages to more closely match the numbers set by my nutritionist. I upped the protein and lowered the carbs a bit and its working out much better for me. MFP has a default formula that it uses for everyone. And like some of the other posters said, protein is not a bad thing to be over your numbers with, if it is healthy protein.0
