Every healthy dieting plan out there contains chicken in at least 2 of the daily meals....problem is I don't like chicken at all so I'm a bit lost as to what I can do about it...I do like pork/beef will that do as well?

I definitely don't eat chicken twice a day. Rarely even once. Then again, I've never followed a diet with specific meal plans. Yes, substitute with protein that you will like and fits into your caloric budget.0

yep as long as u r under your calories u will lose weight. I eat grilled steak and salad. Tonight is piri piri pork and salad. I add low fat houmous and coleslaw and my fav bean salad http://www.skinnytaste.com/2009/06/southwestern-black-bean-salad.html. I cut carbs just because I am too greedy with them! skinnytaste has lots of great recipes. Good luck and enjoy!0

You can totally substitute with pork and beef. Just watch the calories. It will be a lot less beef than lean pork and lean chicken in one serving size. So serving sizes vary dramatically and you may not feel full on beef.0

sometimes i use eggs as a substitute depending on the recipe0

Beef and pork are fine if that's what you like. Turkey might be closer in volume per calorie, if you like turkey. Other common protein sources are fish/seafood, canned tuna or eggs.0

As you learn more about food, you'll be able to more easily customize your meal plans.0

Here's the nutrition content on 140g of chicken breast, roasted, no skin - 231 calories, 43 g of protein, 45 calories from fat (nutritiondata).
And a pork chop, boneless, broiled, 134g - 190 calories, 33 g of protein, 59 calories from fat.
(nutritiondata)
Taking care trimming the fat, you can enjoy the freedom of any meat you enjoy.0 -
For protein - any lean meat - boneless, skinless chicken or very lean beef is good. I don't eat a lot of pork, so can't speak to that. Fish and eggs are good. Quinoa is a good protein. I also eat a lot of lentils and black beans.0

You can eat any protein for weight loss...but as for "eating healthier," keep in mind that most experts advise eating red meat (which includes all pork and beef) only once or twice a week. This is because of red meat's high saturated fat content, which in the long run can cause health issues, especially for your heart. So do try experimenting with fish, eggs, turkey and other sources of protein as well as beef and pork.0 -
Just look for low calorie cuts of meat -- sirloin, low fat ground/minced beef, . . .0

Eat foods you do like. Eat at a deficit. That's the best diet plan out there.0
