back story: I have lost 175 pounds in almost 2 years...I occasionally have a bad day here or there and I have lost weight/maintained during 2 Christmas season, New Years, Easter, birthdays even a cruise to Mexico. This week I am suddenly a bottomless pit. I had a cheat day Sunday..and one today...I just can't stay full...occasionally I will have 1 bad day during the week but now I'm on day #2 . Ttotm is exactly 1 week away..I am hoping it doesn't last that long...I am already 6 pounds up on the scale

Wow, congratulations on what you've accomplished! Have you taken a good look at your profile picture.. I mean, really taken a look? That's your progress and result of all that hard work. Hey, I just read tonight that 'one salad doesn't make you healthy, and one piece of chocolate won't derail your progress' (I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist of it). You know what you need to do and if you dig deep, you'll find the motivation because it's the same motivation that helped you lose 175 pounds.
Today is over and gone. Tomorrow is a fresh start.0 -
I'll repeat what someone once posted here, which has really resonated with me. "If you get a flat tire, do you change it and move on or do you slash your other three tires?"0

Last week I overate on a few days due to some functions, but decided not to give myself a hard time about it. I ate, logged, and here I am.
Do you realize 6 pounds of fat would be almost 20,000 calorie over your TDEE? did you really eat that much over?
My guess is some of that is water retention. What ya think?

175 pounds is way impressive!! A couple of bad days won't make much difference in the long run. Just get back to doing whatever it is you have been doing so well!0
