Not sure what the "new" Atkins is. I basically use the "old" plan!

I think it's just been reintroduced with a higher carb intake level. Haven't done either, do you recomend Atkins? Is it sustainable?

I just never got past the induction phase of atkins. It really takes the weight off the first few weeks (I lostlike 10 lbs this first two weeks) but it you don't stick with it, the weight piles back on at twice the rate...or at least it felt that way...lol!

I agree with Amanda. Anything that you do that's not sustainable for the rest of your life will only cause you to gain it all back and then some once you quit. If you're looking for something to supplement with, have you ever looked into Shakeology? It's an amazing Ultra Premium Shake with over 70 HEALTHY all-natural ingredients...and it's delicious! Let me know if you'd like to know more about it. I personally use it and it makes all the difference in the world for me. :-) Happy hunting!

That's not true at all about gaining back if a diet isn't sustainable for life. I've proved that wrong a 100 times over. You just can't go back to eating tons of junk which is what made you fat i n the first place. I lost a lot of weight on the most restricted diet one can think of, got off it started eating normal/healthy and I'm still losing
