Hi
I have mfp set to sedentary and add in my excercise which is strengh training 4 x a week for about 30 mins. Cardio or HIIT on 2 days a week and I try to get in 10,000 steps a day.
Mfp shows nutrition as
50% carbs
30% fat
20% protein.
Is this a good guide please. Trying to eat at deficit as I gained 8lb since starting strengh training 9 weeks ago.
Thanks in advance.

I workout 3 days a week (30 mins cardio and 60 mins strength training each) and on the off days I more often than not do 15-30 mins aerobics. I don't add my exercises here so I have my mfp set to lightly active, I guess that even things out.
As for the nutrition values, I am no expert but I am setting mine to
50% carbs
25% protein
25% fat
Not sure if that is good though. I am new here too and I am still getting the hang of this. I heard that I had to decrease my carbs more than 50% but honestly, I don't think I can do it and as long as I am eating enough protein, I wouldn't worry about it.0
