Hello
i was just wondering, does the exercise function automatically deduct calories you'd burn if you was just living and not exercising? say i do 60 minutes of zumba and burn 500 of them via my heart rate monitor, does this take into account or do i have to deduct this myself?

That depends on the HRM.0

its a polar ft4 - i dont think it does, does this mean i need to work it out myself before putting it in mfp?0

HRMs generally report total calories so need a subtraction to get the extra expenditure of exercise.0
