What would be a recommended amount of exercise time daily for someone who don't exercise much?

When you say you don't do much now, what do you actually do currently? what are your goals? What do you enjoy doing?
I think the type of exercise and the intensity will dictate how long you do that exercise for. you may find it better to do several different activities over the day rather that slug out 1 long training session.
More info needed.
For example, I walk the dog (20 - 40 minutes) housework (2 hours) gym (approx 1.5 hrs) or I might run (30-60mins) I may do a YouTube exercise video (30 mins).
