Macro Tips

Options
Hey,

I was hoping to get some macro advice that fits what I'm trying to do. I've never taken my diet to seriously at all but I want to change that.

I want to build muscle, but without adding too much fat, if any. I also understand fat is a important. I have no idea what my body fat percentage is.

I'm 6'2" and about 200lbs. I train 5-6 times a week. Cardio, either HIIT or slow jog/incline walking included about 2 times a week. I just like being in the gym. Not interested in show preps at this time.

I'm wondering what an ideal macro intake should be for myself.

Main goals are to build muscle and obtain a tighter abdominal region.

Thanks!

Linked is to part 1 of Eric Helms on nutrition which makes the introduction and discusses calories, which I think you need to understand as your defining two somewhat different goals. Part 2 will cover macronutrient needs based on the goal you choose to go with.
