Gym recommendations in Portland Oregon and Marina Del Rey CA

I will be in those 2 locations and wanted to know if anyone knows of any local gyms in those areas that will allow me to pay for 1 day while I am in town. Usually hotel gyms do not have much more than a treadmill and some dumbbells. Any info would be appreciated. What do other people do while traveling if they are on certain routines?

    Hey there! I'm not sure about other places, but I know that (most locations) in Portland if you go into a 24 hour fitness or Bally's And say that you are interested in a membership but wanted to check out the gym first they will usually give you a one week free pass. You might have to sit and *kitten* for a few minutes about membership prices and what not, but hey! its a free week at the gym! Good luck

    thanks for your reply. I don't think they would honor that if I have an ID/license that is out of state?
