It's always the 10lbs challenge.

Hi there. I have gained and I have lost and I'm always 10 lbs from my " happy place". I either give up when things are going good cuz i think " I got this" or just plain give up and I always go back to the same weight. I'm here to gain motivation and to just keep going.

I'm the same way...I get 10-15 away from that sweet spot, that ultimate goal, then I stop. WHY?! You can do it! I can do it! We can do it!

Not speaking from experience, but as something I'll likely have to face when I get closer to my goal: Maybe just a new attitude/game plan is needed. If you hit a certain point where you're not losing anymore, how about just stopping for a while? I don't mean to quit watching your intake or anything like that, but just maintain, stay where you are. Enjoy your success thus far and take a weight loss vacation. Don't go forward, but don't go backward either. Then when you're ready, just pick up where you left off. There's no point in abandoning ship just because the wind isn't blowing today.

Same. Lost a large amount (109lbs.) and have battled with the last 20lbs. off and on for the past 3 years. Difficult but I think weight training is finally giving me a permanent solution to my long term problem.
