I Suddenly Need More Food!

I've been pretty consistent with my exercising over this past week- at least 30 mins of cardio, 30 mins of weight lifting, maintaining over 10k steps daily and eating under my calorie goal.... Well, with the exercising exceptions on Saturday and Sunday which are my rest days. I noticed yesterday and even more so today that I'm becoming hungrier than normal and now I'm questioning if I really can eat all I need in a day within a 1300 (1600 with cardio) limit. Anyone else experience this?

I definately understand! When I first started working out, I'd easily eat 4 big meals each day. I guess the new exercise is just a shock to your body and it's trying to compensate for the extra energy consumption by wanting more fuel. I personally found that I adjusted to it and went back to normal meals in about a week. If you're hungry and have gone over your 1300 limit, while you're still adjusting to it I'd say listen to your body and eat!0

Yeah, I got like that when I upped my cardio. The hungries settled down after a few days. I listened to my body and ate a little more.0

I haven't gone over my limit too often or by too much yet. This week I've done pretty good at meeting my macro and caloric goals. Im just not sure if this is normal because as much as I want to lose weight and not slow down the process, I don't want to be starving my body either! I'm looking at the clock now and it won't even be at least another 5 hours until my next meal. I've already eaten my lunch and snacks for the day and my stomach still says to feed it!0 -
