I've lost 42 pounds using the app within the past year, not knowing where the weight is coming off from. I went from 171 pounds to 129 pounds as of today. I still have belly fat that I want and need to get rid of because I want a flat stomach. And if it matters, my daily calorie goal is 1,200 and my activity level is sedentary. Any advice or suggestions will be appreciated!

Hi, congrats on the weight loss! If I've learnt anything from googling for hours on end, it's that you can't target weight loss in a particular area, so maybe you've lost a bit of fat from all over your body? As for advice, I'd say eating the right food is definitely key to loosing fat. If you don't mind me asking, what food is your 1200 calories coming from?

Fork put downs and table push aways. Belly fat is directly related to overall BF and can't be spot reduced. If you aren't on a structured lifting program, get on one.

Ignore this. Unless your doc has advised otherwise, gluten has no part in reducing belly fat.

It sounds like you are doing well, just need more time, and maybe some tightening up of your diet and exercise program. For many, the fat around the belly is the last to go. Great job on the loss so far.

Thank you. Is there anything you can think of to help me start getting rid of this belly fat? I'm not even 5 pounds away from my goal weight of 125 pounds and I thought it'd be gone by now.

Thank you so much for the link! It's definitely a starting point for me, especially now with having less than 5 pounds to lose to get to my goal weight of 125 pounds.
