I have a FitBit Charge HR and am wondering if there is a point of indicating to my FitBit (via the side button) that I am starting and ending a workout? My HR and steps are tracked all day, so it doesn't actually help to increase my calorie burn during that time, does it? Thanks for the advice!

It gives you a "snapshot" of your stats during your workout.

If nothing else, it measures your heart rate every second instead of every 5 seconds...0
