I'm here.....AGAIN

The last time I was here, I lost roughly 30 lbs and although I was still at least 20 lbs from my minimum weight loss goal, I was quite happy about what I accomplished. I was eating quite clean - not perfect but clean enough ;) Almost no gluten, little dairy (except for cheese which I refuse to give up lol) and no added sugar (except maple syrup and honey occasionally). I managed to lose those 30 lbs while sitting on my butt. I have a chronic illness and spend a lot of time immobile. At the time when I lost those 30lbs my hubby was unemployed so he was around all the time to prepare all my meals. Once he went back to work, I went back to grabbing whatever was convenient. The last 2 winters have been AWFUL for my weight as I've been about 90% bed bound which means I'm at the whims of whoever happens to be cooking for me. It's very frustrating. I am returning 60lbs heavier than when I left and with Type 2 diabetes. So obviously this time it's even more imperative I lose the weight. I'm down 15lbs since May 1 going back to my clean eating regimen. Hubby is working still but he's doing his very best to help me out by preparing extra servings and whatnot. He knows how important it is for me to eat well and he knows now how easy it is for me to slip into bad habits.

If you have a chronic illness or are a clean(ish) eater and want some support, please feel free to friend me. I will never judge a person for how they're eating as it's a real struggle for me too and I understand :smile:
