I actually get muscle spasms randomly, or when I stretch out a certain way. They HURT!
It might be due to a potassium deficiency. Remember to stay hydrated, warm up, stretch, and cool down to help your muscles. I won't say it's necessary, but it does help.0 -
I wouldn't know what it is like to have a baby kick, but I've been getting muscle spasms in my feet recently.0

Stay hydrated, and replenish your electrolytes. I used to have that problem when I was younger and more recently doing low carb, especially if I drink alcohol. I eat extra salt, and take magnesium and potassium supplements to prevent it.
Be careful with supplements though, a Gatorade or similar should probably help replenish what you lost.0 -
Yes. Feels just like kicking. I've taken pregnancy tests because of it.0

I agree to take a magnesium supplement and/or eat foods high in magnesium and potassium.

Your muscles are made of water, and when you exercise they will become dehydrated and spasm. Make sure you are drinking enough water (especially with working out) and it should reduce them or make them go away completely.0
