Grateful for people brave enough to ask questions, and wise enough to answer

I want to thank all of you who have had the courage to post questions and those who have given wise responses in forums. I have been on MFP for a month now and have successfully lost a little over 8 pounds and gained a great deal of knowledge about how to maximize the benefit of this free tool. I am meticulous with food scale measures for everything I eat, unless it is a one serving package, and a measuring cup for caloric drinks. I verify nutrition information with food labels and use USDA for non-labeled foods when recording my food. I use mapwalk.com to plan out and measure my walking distance and speed to record my exercise. I found eating back all my net exercise calories for protein but not all those allotted to carbs and fats has helped me to achieve my health goals. I adjusted my micro nutrients I wanted to follow, for example increasing fiber to my Doctors recommendation. I feel strong and healthy. I am loosing pounds and inches in a proportion that assures me I am maximizing fat loss with minimal muscle loss.

I would like to second that thanks! There are so many people here who are extremely helpful - those who ask as well as those who answer. It's the members that really keep me coming back.
