Hi everyone! I was wondering, for anyone who may have back and knee issues.... What are some low impact exercises you do? I hear alot about water exercises... but I don't have a pool available to me. Anything else? Thanks in advance for your replies =)

Depending on how low impact it needs to be, bicycling can be good. It puts very little force on the knees compared with walking, while strengthening the muscles around the knees. If a standard bicycle is uncomfortable, a recumbent is worth considering; many gyms/health clubs have a couple recumbent stationary bikes so you could try one out there.

Seated exercise if your knees are really bad..........

I like Leslie Sansone "Walking" DVDs. You can do these at your own pace. Keep the knee lifts and kicks small at first (lower back). You can do these on a softer surface. I place puzzle mat on the floor for a little extra padding (you don't need much space).
