Sick can't eat

Do I need calories when I'm sick? I assume that being sick and having no appetite go together for a reason? Should I not even worry about calories and such?

Well, yeah. You should try to eat something unless you're vomiting.0

Your body may need more calories when it's sick....
You need nutrients!0 -
Depends on the kind of sick.
If you're nauseous and/or nothing stays down, avoiding food is totally fine. I try to keep easy stuff like saltine crackers, ginger ale/tea and apple sauce around just in case.
If it's a flu/cold type thing and you have no appetite, eat anyway. Go for small portions in case you get full really quickly, but try to get in some nutritious stuff. You might find that you get hungry after having a little something
