You can't compare weight and cups. Cups are volume, weight is weight. A cup of say, flaked coconut will weigh far, far less than a cup of rice.0

Ok thanks anyway. So I suppose I need to weigh whatever each thing is and work it out.]

Weigh solids, use cups for liquids. Best way to be accurate.0

I weigh liquids too (why not?), including things like olive and coconut oil, almond milk, vegetable broth that's going into a soup, etc. You can place your glass or pot on a scale and pour into it without having to use (and clean!) measuring cups :-).0

If you can find accurate info for them by weight rather than volume, sure. I just find a lot of the time you can't.

Weight your solid foods and use a liquid measuring cup for your liquids.0
