After lifting yesterday, back squats, overhead press and dead lift I did not feel much tired. Just some muscle sore. But today I noticed this blue mark on my right thigh. Is it normal? Can I continue my Strong lift W1D3 lifting tomorrow? Not feeling much pain.

Like a bruise? Maybe from the bar while doing deadlift? If so, either you're hip-thrusting too much (IMHO) to get the bar down - I do this, but just enough to clear my knees - or your bar path for DL is off (as in too far away from you on the way up) and you're banging the bar into your thighs.

If it's not a bruise, then my guess is it's not from lifting.

In either case, it sounds like you'll probably be fine, since you're not feeling much pain. Keep an eye on it, I guess, but you probably can carry on. Just get a form check for DL, I'd advise for now.

It's not a bruise just a blue spot. As you say might be my form. I will check it.

My first thought was a muscle strain, but again that would be a bruise... Just not from an impact.

I have bruises all the time I don't know where they came from. It isn't necessarily related.

Don't even remember how did I get it! :D In any case giving my body rest today. Thank you for clearing my doubts. Hope it goes away soon.

That happens to me all the time.

"Where did this bruise come from?" *poke* "OW!"

    Every time.

Curse of absent mindedness. :) I would be more mindful of my stance in weightlifting now.

It's really not a big deal at all. It even a little deal it happens. I certainly wouldn't alter my workout schedule because of it
