Paleo/Primal/Crossfiter/weightlifter/runner

Mom to 3, stepmom to 3 more, also manage a husband, a dog and a full time job as an accountant.
I've been eating low-carb, then primal, then paleo, and now mostly Primal since 2011.
My current weight is 10-15lbs more than I'd like.
I joined Crossfit last October and got serious about it in January 2015 when I switched to the 5am class. That has made all the difference for this busy mom.
Crossfit got me interested in strength and I concentrate on Lifting Heavy 2X each week.
I do Crossfit 4X each week because it challenges me. We practice skills and lifts that I otherwise wouldn't attempt. Also, it's a great way to start my day and puts me a good mood first thing in the morning.
I run 3X each week to get faster. It's a battle and doesn't come naturally, but I want to improve my 5K time, so I have to keep at it.
I have to admit that all that exercise hasn't helped me loose a single pound so I'm paying attention to what I eat and logging it on MFP to help me meet my goals.
