I'm 5'8" weigh 114 and I'm skinny-fat. I look skinny overall but if Istart gaining it's 100% waistline and belly fat. Obviously if I keep gaining weight gets distributed to other parts of my body but I try to take it off before that happens. What can I do to be able to eat food and not get a food baby or literally gain instant weight in my belly.?

You can't, you can't spot reduce and you can't spot gain

    I'm 5"8 and I cant imagine what I'd look like at 114lbs :noway: I'm maintaining at 140lbs.
Like the others have said, weight training is your best friend when facing the "skinny fat" issue.

5'8" and 114 is either emaciated or definitely "skinny fat." I spent years at 5'6-7" and 110 with a poochy belly, I get that it CAN be a thing....

The only answer is lifting heavy stuffs, eating a solid diet, and letting go of the notion that the scale measures your fitness. Because when you are truly small-framed and skinny-fat? you WILL see higher numbers once you bulk and cut (or recomp) your way to buff.
