Hi,
I am 51 years old and like most of us have been down the weight loss road most of my life. A few years ago I was at my same weight and joined a gym.... I would up 30 lbs. smaller and joined an active triathlete group. I did a half iron man and had all the confidence in the world. Life hit again however and I had pneumonia for 4 months and then a severely sprained foot. (On a great note, I also met the love of my life, got married and moved to a new area. While it is not cycle friendly, I can kayak any time I want.) So I am facing my 3rd season without being ready to race. I am hoping to drop about 20+ pounds and start training again. Basically, I want to enter my golden years healthy and without the painful joints that extra weight causes.
