Hello everyone!! :) my name is Stephany I am 25 year old, Latina, I started my journey 5/15/15 weighing 260lbs, at 5'6 I was so depressed trapped under my own skin until I said to my self no more of this pain and depression I struggle with ptds and anxiety with no pills to control it, I was caving my own grave to obesity. I struggled all of my life being heavier I have never felt good about my weight. And how I have always looked. It hurt me the most when people would say to me oh you are so pretty "BUT" I always heard but if u lose weight u would look so sexy. :( I hated when people would tell me that! I used to cry! But u know what I got this I can do this! I've been walking at a park close to my house everyday or 3-4 days a week and also watching what I eat and tracking everything I eat with this app I have not yet lost any weight which it's making really really sad I'm working so hard to lose my fat but it isn't working idk what I am doing wrong...

Hi I'm a latina too. Sometimes when your thyroid gland is not working properly you don't loose weight or you gain weight instead of loosing it. That's just a suggestion. I know that for a fact I have it, and when I didn't know I had it at my biggest I was 298. So if you want tell your doctor to check your thyroid gland.

I started in JAN14 at 275 and being 5'10" ish.
I've been to 80 lb lost, am currently bouncing around 75-78 lb down for a few weeks.

Which is it? How long do you walk, or how far, how fast? Is the terrain challenging, do you work
up a sweat, or is it pretty level and you're just strolling along?
Walking can be really good exercise, and it's cheap, easy to do.
What are you doing for weightlifting? Even body weight exercises are better than nothing. Check
youtube & google to get started. Don't neglect your muscles. It's much easier to maintain them
than to try to rebuild in a couple years when you get to your goal weight & realize you're still flabby.

    .
watching what I eat and tracking everything I eat with this app
Are you measuring your food, weighing & using measuring cups or are you eyeballing?
For a while, you need to measure. From that, you'll get better at knowing actual portion sizes.
Your diary isn't public so we can't give you feedback about choices, places you could improve.

If you're not losing weight, you're not eating fewer calories than you're burning.
    It's that simple.
(Also, it's only been 3 weeks. While you should see some change, there wouldn't be much, maybe 6 lb. If
you're heading into TOM, that could be offset by water gain.)

Here's a newbie help post I did which has links to lots of useful info.
    Start with sexypants.
Then the one titled "you're probably eating more than you think".
Then the post about realistic goal setting. That includes links to several calculators so you can determine
a healthy goal weight. One of them will even tell you how many servings of the various food groups you need to
eat to maintain any particular weight (like, oh, say, your healthy goal weight).

    BTW:
loose = not tight; those old clothes are really loose on you now
lose = to not have; you will lose weight if you eat less than you burn
