Hello all. I've been here before, 8 years ago. Lost the weight, met a man, fell in love, moved in with him, got married, put the weight back on (ah, happiness weight). We both love food so the weight crept back on. He also has put on a little, though lost some once he was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes (it runs in his family).
He managed things well. Me not so much. That changed in March when I gave up all processed sugars. A 25 pound loss got me out of the 300 club. I'm slowly phasing out carbs and will up my movement (I refuse to think of it as exercise).
My personal goal is to run a marathon in a year.
So for me, in order to be successful changes need to come in stages. Baby steps. As they say, how do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
