Fitbit setup mega confusion

Hiya. Just bought the one this evening. Iv set it up and synced with MFP. Im confused though. I mannually set my MFP calories to 1590 based on an online calculators TDEE - 20% is this incorrect, do i need to set it up differently?

Is there any other things i need to make sure iv done in the initial set up stages to ensure accurate results? 
I read about custom stride lengths how do i do this?
Should i enable negative adjustments?
Do i mannually enter a daily goal of calories on my fitbit dashboard? My daily goal keeps changing on MFP? Initially i entered the same goal onto fitbit that MFP said. Its somehow now 1478? But its not matching with fitbit?
Do i use the foodplan settings on fitbit i.e set it to medium? I set a weight loss goal and selected a medium food plan (lose 1lb a week) the same as iv set MFP to lose 1lb a week. Is that right?
