Speaking from personal experience, if you like having your hair fall out, no energy, and no periods, then yes continue eating 1000. You can still lose weight at higher cals but will save your health.0

What calorie goal did MFP give you? Do you log exercise & eat back those calories? Are you using a food scale?

'eating' for the purpose of this discussion, is what you truly net.
How long have you been doing this?
Are we talking 1 to 10 days, or 4 to 6 weeks?
Did your scale weight reflect the caloric deficit you believed you had?
Is it currently doing so?0 -
Your ticker says you have 137 pounds to lose. You can eat MUCH more than 1200 to lose weight, including some of your exercise calories. Larger calorie deficits can lead to some pretty severe health problems.0

You're probably eating more than you think, especially if you aren't using a food scale and weighing every single food/drink.0

The winner gets to eat the most and still lose.0
