McDonald's now has a Twix McFlurry!

(this thread has absolutely nothing to do with anything. I just wanted to share my excitement. Happy Sunday!)

Just shared this thread with my son. He gave it a thumbs up. Guess I'll be making a trip there this week to get him one, lol.0

oh my god.
oh. my. god.
Welp that's definitely a treat this week if they have it by me.
Thank goodness I'm doing maintenance for a little while, lol.

I have no one to high five after reading this...lame!!0

Oh man I cannot lose this weight fast enough. I need me some bulking level calories.0
-
Oh god, that sounds so good.0

For balance, I have to say it looks rather gross to me.
Hazelnut or pistachio gelato? Now that's good.0 -
Can't wait to hit some goals to eat that *kitten*! NOMS!!!!!!!!!!0

Love Twix. Too bad they're not showing nutrition info anywhere, lol.0
-
Yep, I've had it. Pure awesome0

Not a fan of chocolate but twix somehow gets an exception. Definitely gonna have to sample a twix mcflurry this week!0

The calorie info was on the sign at my local Mcds, can't remember what it was though, off the top of my head.

Do they have a low carb version?0

Whenever I think a dessert can’t be justified in terms of macros, I add a scoop of protein powder to it.
I LOVE twix. I might just mix some greek yogurt with chocolate whey and a bunch of broken up Twix pieces to make my own versionThanks for the inspiration OP!!

I'm an Oreo mcflurry girl myself, actually. Never cared for twix bars. Just, you know, adding balance.0

Does DQ have a twix blizzard anyone know?0

I don't normally go in to McD's but I was at one last week and saw the poster for Oreo McFlurry. That pic/poster is deceiving. I was thinking it was going to be a small cup but I got so much more than I was expecting. I only ate a quarter of it though.

LOL. The first thing I did after drooling was go to the McDonald's website.
Then I remembered mfp. That was a mistake. I can't justify that many calories for one item without more protein.
Yeah it's tough to fit a 500 calorie treat most days... I don't remember how filling those are either, it's been years since I had a McFlurry...Whenever I think a dessert can’t be justified in terms of macros, I add a scoop of protein powder to it.
Ok now I would be worried of ruining it... plus it adds calories. I'd rather be short on protein than ruin a 500 calorie dessert LOL.
Let's be fair though... always loved Twix. Then I bought a Twix egg after Easter and I was actually disappointed.0 -
I just want a DQ Jurrasic Smash Blizzard. I don't really care about McFlurry's, but I love their regular soft serve sundaes.0

Twix is by far my go to on the rare occasion that my sweet tooth rears its ugly head. I love them so... so much.
So, I was utterly excited when I saw this sign at my local McDs. I haven't been able to try it out yet because I've been at work for the largest part of the past two days, but I might be grabbing one after the gym tonight.0 -

I had one of those the other day. I was kinda let down. It was a bit bland, needs more peanut butter flavor IMO. I freaking love a mint Oreo blizzard though.0 -
Ew... mint, and chocolate. :-P0
