Gym Equipment

Admit it - How much 'fitness' equipment have you bought to use at home? What did you buy? Most importantly, do you use it?!

I bought an ab cage to help me get back into crunches which is gathering dust. I also bought some dumbbells, but I use those most days and am currently looking at a curl bar to use all the weights at once. I also bought myself a new gym bag, workout clothes, water bottles, sweat bands, trainers, swim suit, goggles, etc, that I do use, but maybe not as often as I should!

I have bought a barbell, dumbbells, 230lbs of weights, barbell stand and a bench. Use them 4 times a week.

I got a set of power blocks that I use religiously, a pull up bar that I use sparingly, resistance bands from before I got my adjustable dumbells that still see action from time to time, a yoga mat that keeps most of the sweat off the floor and helps with grip once a week when I struggle with yoga, and blocks that help me with some of the stretches I'm not quite any good at yet. That, and my running shoes are about all I've spent money on for my home gym and I love the convenience.

We're on our second treadmill as the first wore out, have just bought a squat rack/cable machine we both use 3x a week plus weights and bar. I've also worn through two yoga mats and am on my third.

Oh and a swimming pool that's not in use at the moment cos its the middle of winter

I just use my body weight to work out, calisthenics style, I don't even go to gym anymore. I bough a few resistance bands and that's pretty much it. I use them to do some exercises what I can not do with body weight yet cos I'm not that advanced yet. That and an old pull up bar at park pretty much covers it. Of course I have bough workout closes and shoes as well cos ya know, it's not that comfortable to work out in jeans or something.

    I own

    One very comfortable mat.
    2 x 3kg dumbbells.
A adjustable barbell up to about 40kg.

Don't need more than that. Though I will invest in some 5kg dumbells soon.

I still have a gym membership but don't use it.
