How to Fix My Diet

I lost 60 pounds last year. 5'5", started at 187 and now down to 125-130, fluctuates a bit. I was on 1,400-1,600 calories for a while, and was recommended to up it to 2,000. I'm a small person, structure wise, so I felt that 1,700 was better suited for me.

However, I'm often tired, retain fat in my upper body, and am seeing little to no progress with my training.

Is that because of my diet? Could a calorie deficit cause me to retain fat? Or am I simply eating the wrong foods?

I would appreciate anything anyone has to say on the matter. Thank you

What you eat has little to do with losing weight; how much you eat does. And looking at your diary, you're eating more than you think. You have a lot of generic entries and nothing that shows it was weighed on a food scale. Start with tightening up your logging (Calorie Counting 101 will be a major help here, as well as Sexypants). Once you have that down, focus on adding more nutrition to your day. There's nothing wrong with what you're eating in moderation, but most days you aren't coming close to your fat or protein goals. Work on adding those into your day, and then if you have calories left over once you hit your macro/micro goals and want something sweet, find something that can fit in.
