İ read somewhere on a link i got here that a person's metabolic rate goes up 10pc for each 1 degree in body temperature. i live in a country where temperatures are very hot in the summer and was wondering when this comes into the equation or is it just when you are unwell??--its 38 degrees here at the moment!!

You are talking about degrees Celcius, right (about 100 F). That's right about where we are right now where I live. I was wondering about this too. I'm about to go for my run before it gets too hot outside (it's 8:00 am and it's 85 F / 30 C).0
