I drink my coffee black no sugar no cream, can I include that as water intake

    I think that the answer may be no, because caffeine is a diuretic, meaning it causes you to lose more water, but Im not positive about that!

    The caffeine content in coffee doesn't create enough of a diuretic effect. :) OP: You can count your coffee in your daily intake.

    What if he drank the water then ate the coffee beans? Would the water still be water?

    That used to be the thinking but more recently the general thinking is that the caffeine in coffee, tea, soda, etc does not create enough of a diuretic effect to offset the hydration.
