I'm a visual person (and a list person) so this weekend, I pulled out a few sheets of paper and filled them with equal-sized boxes, then wrote numbers in each box counting down from my starting weight to my goal weight, one pound at a time. Then, for each 10-pound interval, I wrote a fun non-food reward (a new book, workout outfit, etc.) as motivation. And to finish it all off, I wrote some motivational words on the top of the chart. I cannot TELL you how wonderfully satisfying it was to cross my first few boxes off this past Saturday! I can't wait until my chart is nothing but "x"s, and the rewards I'll collect along the way are none too shabby either! Feeling motivated

sounds like a great idea.
I could also see making a box and putting rewards on a strip of paper, and you get to pick one for every five lbs....or whatever interval0
