Alright, so my boyfriend and I both lift. He more than I, but I enjoy lifting so I partake in it. He weighs ~220, I'm at around 160. I'm aiming to lose fat while building muscle, and he's just aiming to eat healthier so he feels better and has an easier time cutting. He's not a fan of most veggies and loves his meat. I'll eat anything but bread, ice cream, and savory foods are my weakness.

Does anyone have some general diet ideas/plans we can follow? They can be different for the both of us, as we both have different goals and needs. I'm just so tired of feeling like junk and I want to be stronger and leaner.

Also I have a more difficult time paying for groceries, so if possible keep that in mind(:

So my bf hates veggies. But he is okay with them cooked. We have been eating a lot of stir fries. These can be very healthy and economical. We use frozen veggies and meat. Since a serving of protein is only 3-4 ounces the shrimp or chicken goes a long way. We also eat a vegetarian pasta we like. For that remember 2/3 cup is two servings of cooked pasta. We eat that with broccoli and that adds bulk to the meal. I would say depending on what your days look like find your own healthy breakfasts you like. I eat plain yogurt with frozen raspberries grape nuts and Splenda 5 days a week. He often has oatmeal or a meal replacement. Good luck. I hope this helps!
