I'm a 30yr old mom of two. Been fat pretty much as long as I can remember. My mom is fat, too. Learned lots of bad habits from her and I don't want to keep teaching them to my young children.
I started gaining in 2009 and was roughly 180ish before then. I yo-yo'd a bit before/after my second child was born two years ago. I got pregnant at 224lbs. I had diet controlled gestational diabetes and was 211 lbs after her birth in Feb 2013. I stupidly thought "my diet only effects me now" and went back to eating crap.
Height 5'5"
Start weight: 261 lbs (April 20, 2015)
Current weight: 244 lbs (June 8, 2015)
First goal: 199 lbs by December 25, 2015
I have been a carb junky for a long time. Changing this was tough at first but I do feel better now that I'm not eating so poorly. My stomach has shrunk enough that I am satisfied with a normal portion. I drink about 120oz of water daily, and am weaning myself slowly off my 200g/day caffeine habit I developed.
