I dont know about you but im a BONAFIDE CHOCOHOLIC!!! At my worst I could eat 4 or 5 King Size choclate bars EVERY NIGHT!!! Hence the reason I put on just over 100 pounds in 5 years! Yes it really was the choclate! LOL!!!
Ive always been a believer in not depriving yourself so in starting #MFP 3months ago I needed to figure out how I would still be able to enjoy choclate, my one true love, but not binge on it & have it affect my weightloss success...
Enter "Bark Thins!"
One day while at Costco with my Mom I was given a sample of "Bark Thins" something I had never tried before... not being a fan of dark choclate I thought there's no way ill like this but much to my surprise I LOVED IT & HAVE BEEN BUYING IT EVER SINCE!!!
Its known as a "snacking choclate" & the key is to have just 1 serving... Now if you're a chocoholic like Me I literally have a serving EVERY DAY! Its my night time snack & I allow myself to have it aslong as ive burned calories that day & will stay within my daily caloric goal!
Anyone who loves dark choclate HAS TO TRY "BARK THINS!" And even if you thought you'd never like dark choclate trust me I was the last person on earth that thought I would ever enjoy dark choclate & I absolutely love it!
Although they make different varieties of Bark Thins I prefer the dark choclate with sea salt & almonds! Its DELICIOUS!!!
Plus they say that dark choclate has the same health benefits as a glass of red wine!!!
So why deprive yourself of something you love so much?!? Aslong as you can set limits & stick to them you should be able to still enjoy things like choclate & continue to lose weight! I have some every night & ive still lost 20 pounds so far with 80 more pounds to go!!! The key for me is I ALWAYS HAVE JUST ONE SERVING!!!
Feel free to add me if you like for support: MissAmber1974
And good luck to everyone on their weightloss journey!!!

I eat chocolate everyday. Sometimes even 2 (sometimes 3...) servings a day, though I do try to limit it to around 1 so I eat more of my calories in food like salads, meats, etc. I eat a lot of different kind of chocolate and usually have 3-4 kinds around. M&M's, reece's pieces (not technically chocolate but candy) cookies and cream bites, and coffee crisp bites are currently what I have around. (cookies and cream and coffee crisp are in the fridge to make them even more awesome)
I like the 'bites' as you can really portion out how much you want, it's harder to do that with big chocolate bars. I can make a 0.72 serving to nicely fit the bites into my last few cals.0 -
