Muscle Fitness website has a good body type quiz to take
It is a good starting point for what workout types may work best for you.
You just take the 20 or so question quiz. It was pretty accurate for me
If you have access to a nutritionist that would be awesome.
Over time I tried a higher carb typical runner type diet, then a lower to moderate carb diet where carbs came from vegetable sources not sugar or starches so much. The latter one has worked for me.
You will figure out what works best for you.
I just ate better food but less of it, and got more active.

It's a personal thing really. I don't avoid any food except kale it's icky.
Exercise I try what I think is interesting.
The best advice I can give is eat what you like/love/crave in moderation staying in a reasonable goal and the weight loss happens...
If you want to exercise find something you love/like and do it...
losing weight is not about avoiding things...it's about having them but in smaller quantities.0 -
Thank you, I think most people are saying that, eat in moderation. I did think at the beginning I would have to avoid everything unhealthy. But yes, should keep within my calories and do the exercises I enjoy.0

my idea for my food and exercise is the simple eat less and move more.
I eat what I want but I eat less of it. and I try to eat nutrient dense foods so I stay full longer and less likely to graze
and I slowly add activity. long walks, runs and now i'll be adding body weight work.0
