Do they hunt? Sporting good store gift card.0

Do they reload? That opens up a whole lot of options.0

Is if a rifle you're thinking or like a handgun for conceal carry?!?0

Don't forget there could be laws (I'm from Commiefornia) that you can't buy actual firearms for other people. Things like holsters are often dependent on personal preference of how they feel and what goes with what style of gun. Definitely things like gift certificates are good as it allows them to pick. I saw someone mention reloading and if you know they do that, then there's stuff you could get them for that too. Always funny themed gun shirts and items, or perhaps if you know they practice a lot, things like targets to shoot at. Not sure about the laws there but if they target shoot and you can get them some Tannerite, it's a literal blast.0

Sig sauer P229!0

Haha, Sig anything! My friend has the 226 Scorpion and is absolutely in love.0

Gun targets, ammo, shirts, accessories, etc. Find out which brands they like best and go to the websites. Most have webstores you can buy direct from. A gift cert from Cabelas, Dikks, Bass Pro, or Gander Mountain can't hurt either.0

There's a ton of hunting and gun enthusiast magazines out there too. Maybe a subscription to one of those.0

How much are you looking to spend OP?
Electronic ear protection or buy them some range time if they dont belong to a club or have land to shoot at.0 -
Too many variables - head exploding....
Gander/Bass Pro/Cabelas gift card? Or find their favorite local gun store and get a gift card or range time.0 -
Etsy has lots of jewelry made from bullets and casings. Sometimes you can request specific brand stamps if you can glean what their favs are. If you just start showing an interest as a way of getting the info, that'll be icing on the cake for them.0

bazooka for the birthday blast!0

Ear plugs and Tannerite!0
-
Tshirts, ear pro, eye pro, a custom holster (those you would need to know the kind of gun...), cool targets...
And yes, anything Sig! Lol0 -
I would never buy a gun for someone else unless you already know what they are looking for. Maybe range time or an accessory for a gun they already own like a new scope.0
-
Great ideas! Thanks and yes, they have rifles and handguns. Love the ear protection idea! Thanks!0
-
Just buy them gift cards to their favorite store/shop. Let them pick what they need0
-
A nice pistol carrying back or gun box would be good.0

I second gift cards. The gun enthusiasts I know are super picky and would prefer to make their own purchases. If they target shoot you could make them some targets with something fun on them (zombies, sci fi bad guys, etc).0
-
Without knowing what kind of guns they have or want I would either get them passes to a range where they can try out some really cool/different kinds of guns that they probably don't already have (if you have a place like that nearby) or skip it. I am pretty sure that people have a lot of different little preferences when it comes to how a gun shoots and feels in their hand so I wouldn't just run out buying guns as gifts.0

Targets (as has been said). The self sealing 3D ones that you can get at most large soorting good store are fun. Hoppe's #9 is always a good bet.0
-
Targets would be a good one. Or on Amazon they have some REALLY funny gun shirts (I am actually buying a few for myself). Cheaper than Dirt has an array of different accessories and guns so maybe see if you can do a gift card from them that way they can shop around for things for the guns they do have or maybe getting another one!0
