Watching the Basketball Finals with a Precocious Child

So the finals have been amazing so far. History making matchup.

Game 2, basketball swishes through the net to tie up the game with no time to spare, and send the game into overtime. I jumped out my seat, fists pumping, yelling. Amazing game, GS and the Cavs (aka LB and Co.) giving it their all.

My 6 year old comes over to me and says, "self-control Mom."

Which put a wet rag on my enthusiasm, as I felt I needed to run down the hall fists pumping. Alas, after being reminded to behave, I sat down and enjoyed the game in a more controlled manner.

The next morning she tells my dh/her dad she thinks he paid too much for the new forks.

Can't wait for the next game! Lol! Rooting for another exciting game!
