Urgent! do you think this would taste good?

So I want to make this pumpkin "cake" to eat as an easy breakfast treat since we're going on a 3 day road trip. All it is is a box of betty crocker gluten free cake mix and a can of pumpkin puree, now the thing is it only has 2 grams of protein per serving, so I was thinking, what if I add a scoop or 2 of vanilla whey. The problem is, I can't try it out first as I need to make it today cause we're leaving tomorrow and I only have 1 box of cake mix and 1 can of protein.
Do you think it would work/taste good? or should i just skip it and make sure to have extra protein later on?

    it'll be delicious. they'll probably be a little dense but will definitely be moist. I'd add some cinnamon and nutmeg for flavor.

    Oh yeah Im going to add a 1/2 teaspoon of pumpkin pie spice

    you think the protein powder will work out?

    I think it would taste fine, but the batter might be a tad too thick (I hear it's pretty thick using the pumpkin puree, anyway).

    I don't think you will even taste the protein. I make granola bars and put 4 scoops of protein in them and I can't taste it at all.

    Yeah i add vegan protein powder to stuff all the time.
