i eat 1208 a day. Depending on the workout. If I need more I eat more. Never over 1400 though. I also eat more carbs on the days I need it most. It seems to work well for me. I'm 5'5" and 123 lbs. as of today. I take vitamins and supplements as well to make sure I'm getting all that I need. I think it depends on the person. If you're not eating enough you won't lose weight the way you want too and you'll be easily exhausted. Gotta fuel your body
